The Scottish Highlands are a dramatic landscape and nestling at foot of the Cairngorm Mountains, hugging the sweeping bends of the mighty River Spey is Spey Valley. Opened in 2006, this par 72, 18-hole Dave Thomas designed course has become a must-play.

Running to 7,153 yards, the course features an old fashioned out-and-back design, with water coming in to play on several occasions along the way. Its challenging design features elevated tees, threatening bunkers and dogleg fairways cunningly laid out round mature trees.

The round opens gently before the golfer’s tee shot is tested on 5th for one of the longest holes in Scottish golf. Measuring 641 yards, this par 5 requires a couple of blind shots. At the 16th accurate play is required to avoid the large pond. The stunning scenery provides the backdrop for a thrilling round of golf.
