Few courses can have had so much written about them even before they opened than Trump International Golf Links Scotland. Woven into the mighty sand dunes of the Aberdeenshire coast that have been shaped by mother nature, these 18 holes could quite rightly be described as making up “the world’s greatest golf course”.

These towering sandy giants were the stunning canvas for this 6,770-yard masterpiece of design, yet form dramatic frames to spectacular views. The round will entice, excite and challenge the golfer in equal measure. This has been designed as a championship course and as a result requires a good deal of skill.

Elevated tees and fully revetted bunkers feature prominently, while the maram-clad slopes that surround the fairways will consume any wayward shots. There are no weak holes here; just 18 that will each inspire in their own unique and captivating way.
